How the Program Works
Cookpad’s Revenue Sharing Program is structured to reward investors who actively participate in the ecosystem by staking their tokens. The revenue from taxes collected by the platform and developers is distributed to these staked token holders, creating a passive income stream for their commitment to the platform.
1. Staking Tokens
Token holders stake their Cookpad tokens within the platform, locking them for a set period to support the liquidity, security, and stability of the network.
By staking, holders contribute to the health of the ecosystem, helping ensure that liquidity remains stable and tokens are available for transactions and market activity.
2. Collection of Transaction Taxes
Each transaction on the Cookpad platform incurs a tax.
30% of the total tax revenue collected by Cookpad itself.
10% of the total tax revenue from developers who launch their tokens using Cookpad.
This tax is automatically collected and pooled for distribution among staked token holders.
3. Distribution of Revenue
The pooled tax revenue is distributed proportionally among all staked token holders based on the number of tokens they have staked.
The more tokens a holder stakes, the larger their share of the total revenue pool.
Rewards are typically distributed on a regular basis (e.g., weekly or monthly), and token holders can monitor their earnings through the Cookpad platform.
4. Passive Income for Stakers
Staked token holders receive passive income through the Revenue Sharing Program, which accumulates as long as their tokens remain staked.
This passive income is directly tied to the platform’s activity, meaning as Cookpad grows and more projects are launched, the amount of revenue available for distribution increases.
5. Claiming or Reinvesting Rewards
Stakers can choose to claim their rewards and withdraw their earnings, or they can reinvest by staking additional tokens to increase their future share of the revenue pool.
The flexibility of the system allows stakers to optimize their earnings based on their investment strategy.
